Jen grew up (with a camera always in her hand!) in the heart of hill-walking country in Derbyshire, and now lives in Dunbar, where she has recently taken up surfing. Her love of natural surroundings inspires her photography, and she loves nothing more than shooting couples on their wedding day, in their chosen venue, in places they’ll remember forever.
She loves going out and about on engagement shoots too, visiting the places where her couples fell in love, enjoy spending time together or have always wanted to visit. Making and capturing memories like this gives her a little leap of excitement in the pit of her stomach every time! And you only need to look at her photos to see how she captures the very essence of each wedding. We love the way she documents the connection between her couples!
Jen has an uncontrollable love of travelling – so wherever you are based, get in touch, she’d love to hear from you.
There are no words that can do Jen justice! She is talented beyond words and one very humble woman. She has taken photos for so many of our friends and family, and done the best job possible so without a doubt she was photographing our wedding. Not only was she a photographer on the day, she was a friend who helped me calm my nerves, bought me food, fixed my dress, pinned my veil and gave me updates on my other half! There are very few people like her who exist and I would 100% recommend her to anyone. She is a wee ninja and it’s shocking to see how many beautiful moments she captures without being so noticeable.

I don’t even know where to start when it comes to recommending Jen. Choosing Jen as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding! She was just brilliant - a lovely, lovely person to deal with from start to finish, and such gorgeous company on the day. Our families all loved her. She took the most stunning, natural photography of our day, which is totally priceless. She captured the emotion and spirit of the day in such a natural, reportage way - we had no idea she was even there for most of the shots! She gave us the photographs we always wanted of our wedding day. Thank you Jen! We are so grateful!

Jen captured our wedding in the most stylish, beautiful way possible. She was such a joy to hang out with all day, and her photographs are absolutely cherished. They’re on the wall and in an album, and we couldn’t love them more. Thanks so much for doing such an incredible job you hero!

GLENCORSE OLD KIRK, MIDLOTHIAN
After discovering they could have a non-religious ceremony in the incredibly romantic 17th century kirk, Gael and Greg knew that Glencorse House was the venue for them. Nestled in the foothills of the Pentlands near Edinburgh, this exclusive use private estate was the perfect setting for their relaxed, colourful celebration. From Gael’s gorgeous Claire Pettibone dress to the bright and colourful flowers and copper frame table decorations, there’s so much to love and be inspired by here. And if you’re thinking that this church looks a little familiar, it may be because this is where Claire and Jamie’s wedding was filmed in series one of Outlander. Such a beautiful place!
