The Hub, Edinburgh’s iconic and historic landmark, towers over the heart of the world’s leading festival city, gloriously dominating the skyline on the Royal Mile between Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace. This unique and spectacular venue is a stunning combination of award winning contemporary design and classic Victorian architecture.
The Hub is a perfect wedding venue. They are proud to offer you inspiring cuisine, exceptional standards of service and a team of dedicated staff who will ensure that every detail of your day is considered. The dramatic and stylish interiors offer a sublime setting, with all rooms licensed for civil ceremonies.
At the centre of The Hub is the extravagantly decorated Main Hall. With its vibrant colours and contemporary design, incorporating the original features of the building, this room really does provide the wow factor. A staged area is also available in the Main Hall and it even has its own pulpit which provides a unique location for a DJ or for speeches, for those who dare. The Main Hall provides a wonderful location for both civil ceremonies and formal seated meals, accommodating up to 400 guests theatre style and for your wedding breakfast their minimum recommended numbers are from 80 up to 300 guests.
Overlooking the Main Hall is the Gallery space, in which one of the wings provides a breathtaking aisle for the bride to process down to the marriage ceremony in front of their legendary stained glass window.
The Dunard Library can be used for drinks receptions in conjunction with The Gallery and as additional bar space during the evening. They have their own private balcony with incredible views across the city to the Pentland Hills. The Dunard Library is an ideal location for smaller more intimate wedding ceremonies and breakfast for up to 50 guests.
The Hub also has its own private balcony, with breath-taking views across the city to the Pentland Hills (ideal for photos!).
