Welcome to Logie Country House, voted the best wedding venue in North East Scotland at the Hotel Awards Scotland 2019. The 17 bedroom private country house is set in 130 acres of beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside, 16 miles west of Aberdeen in the Royal Burgh of Inverurie.
The house sits on estate lands dating back to 1492 and provides luxurious, relaxing, unpretentious, warm, comfortable, and very well thought-out accommodation. The multi-award-winning Scottish castle is available as an exclusive use wedding venue for two days and nights mid-week or three days and nights over a long weekend. It has an indoor swimming pool, a cinema room, two outside hot tubs, and a courtyard. Logie Country House also has a large wedding ballroom for up to 160 wedding guests. And guess what? They even have their own private island!
Steeped in history, Logie Country House was originally a fortified castle built in 1680 on estate lands dating back to 1492. The castle was extended and modified in the seventeenth century and completely renovated in 2006 to give the beautiful, warm and cosy house you see today. The old stables have been renovated and extended to form a beautiful open-plan bar and ballroom and the house itself comfortably sleeps up to 50 guests in 17 bedrooms.
Logie Country House has grand entertaining rooms, an indoor infinity swimming pool, two kitchens, 17 bedrooms, two courtyards, two outdoor hot tubs, a cinema, and miles of walks through ancient woodland and rolling fields.
Catering packages are available for pre-wedding breakfasts, post-wedding brunches, BBQs in the courtyard, hog roasts, or hot and cold platters. Alternatively, you can arrange all your own food and drink (apart from the wedding day itself) as they have two full kitchens and large gas BBQs in the courtyard.
If you would like a slightly different setting for your wedding day, the courtyard at Logie Country House is an oasis of tranquillity, completely sheltered by the house and courtyard walls – a dream location for an intimate wedding celebration.

Sarah and I are so grateful to have been able to have Logie House as our wedding venue and it wasn’t just an ‘amazing’ few days, it was perfect! Sarah and I knew it was the venue for us within about 5 minutes of walking through the front door. It was everything we had hoped it would be and more. The feedback from all of our guests was exceptional, I think we’ve made a few other couples very jealous and definitely set a new standard for future weddings within our circle of friends! Gillian and Tim have been an absolute pleasure to deal with since the very first day we met. In fact, ‘deal with’ sounds far too business-like. It’s been a real pleasure to have met such genuinely lovely people and we’ve really enjoyed your company throughout. We’ve already thanked Gillian directly but may I just say what a superstar you have there – she made such a difference on our wedding day, really helped put us at ease which set the tone for the remainder of the wedding – we love her to bits!

Both myself and Nav would like to express a big thank you to you and your team at Hudsons. We have had so many messages saying how amazing the wedding food was. We didn’t make it easy for you with the diverse food types, but everything we asked for you made fantastically with no fuss. The Indian food especially was great, with amazing feedback from the Indian guests, some of them with over 50 years of experience in cooking traditional Indian food, which goes to show how amazing your chefs are! Thanks so much again, and we both hope to see you at some point in the years to come…

Just wanted to say a big thank you for a wonderful wedding weekend at Logie. We had the best time, and it went without a hitch and was just as we had imagined our day to be. It wouldn’t have been possible without all your help. Just fantastic.

We always love hearing how We Fell In Love has inspired your wedding day, and today’s bride read the blog “religiously” after getting engaged and took lots of inspiration from it (that’s what we like to hear!). Pippa and Richard’s Scottish country house wedding is full of soft and delicate colours, steal-worthy DIY details, and a blast of spring sunshine to boot. A super pretty way to start the weekend, we think you’ll agree!
