A textile graduate from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee, Mairi worked in Japan for a year then travelled before returning to Scotland to start up Mairi MacSween Designs in 2002. Her cards are handmade or printed in Scotland using the highest quality materials and feature original art work including photographs, water colours and collage.
Whether you are looking to customise one of MMDs existing designs or to create a one-off bespoke design, all of the designs are individually handmade to order and can be a combination of the following: Save the date cards, invitations, reply and information cards, orders of service/ceremony, place cards, menus, thank you cards, favour boxes, table plans and table names.
Samples can be ordered online or you can make an appointment to come to the studio to discuss your requirements.
Your stationery will take up to six weeks to create, depending on the service you request. Because it is so very beautiful, Mairi’s work is highly in demand, so take our advice and book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Victoria Hall, Dunblane
Inspired by portraits of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, and with tables named after their favourite pubs, Mairi and Jim’s wedding is full of our favourite things. Something tells us you’re going to love their super-pretty, laidback Scottish wedding.
